The X-line in Saalbach Hinterglemm

Freeride action over more than 6 kilometers

The X-line in Saalbach is one of the longest freeride-courses in Europe and stretches over 1.000 meters elevation. But it is not the length or the elevation that makes the X-line really special. It is a combination of panorama, trail and challenge, which makes it the greatest bike adventure in Saalbach Hinterglemm.

In the upper section the X-line offers stunning views into the mountains and a nice and awesome trail which leads right towards Saalbach. The Flow is amazing in the upper section.

But don’t relax too much – the lower section of the X-line is a tough peace of biking. High northshore elements, jumps, tables and much more take a lot of bike-skills from you.

The lower section in the forest of Saalbach offers three opportunities. You can chose the slopestyle section, take the forest trails with lots of roots and rocks or, for those who have enough, there is a nice gravel road which brings you to Saalbach in a fairly easy going way. At the bottom go straight to the bike wash and right to the Schattberg Express – that is the gondola which takes you up to the Schattberg for the next ride on the X-Line.

Character: Pros will have fun, beginners should rather take some more time on the blue line or the milka line before they try the X-line. Many jumps, northshores, roots and a very technical trail.

Lengh: 6.3 kilometers

Elevation: 1,025 meters

There is much more to say about the X-Line. The bottom line is – just ride it. If you want to do so, feel free to send us an inquiry or make an online booking for an unforgettable bike vacation in the Hotel Talblick.
