The "Home of Lässig" Walk in Saalbach Hinterglemm

The alpine and adventurous - long-distance hiking in Saalbach Hinterglemm

You can also just name it "loop in the Hinterglemm Talschluss", BUT "Home of Lässig Walk" simply sounds better. This path is actually a long hike through the wild, natural beauty of the valley and leads to the most beautiful peaks of the Home of Lässig. With its 1,700 m ascent and 5 summit ascent, the Home of Lässig Walk is not for inexperienced hikers, but those with a bit of experience and stamina will find the great mountain experience off the beaten track.

Take this route

The U-shaped mountain tour starts at the parking lot Lengau, no shock, if this parking lot is more than full, most visitors head for the high ropes course at the Lindlingalm. There we pass by, but then turn left immediately and walk towards Schusterscharte. The climb is entirely in the shade, which is an advantage in the steepness of the path in the summer. Whether Schusterkogel summit or not, the tour continues in any case over the Mittagskogel to the "gate" and then rising high to the Teufelssprung.

We continue hiking ...

The next summit is the Gamshag, whose ridge path from the Teufelssprung, creates real moments of indulgence. At the striking summit of the Tristkogel, which is next to it, vertigo and surefootedness is required, while descending steeply to the Saaljoch. This is followed by the Saalkogel and, finally, the beautiful scenic mountain Staffkogel, which we know above all from many winter ski tours. After about 8 hours of walking you can reach the valley and the Lindlingalm again via the Ossmannalm, which are now particularly attractive with a cozy retreat. Cheers and enjoy your meal!
