On Friday, there will still be frequent rain in the early hours, but it will soon move off towards the north-east. In the morning and around midday, it will be mostly dry and often heavily overcast, though the sun may peek through here and there. In the afternoon, rain showers will spread across the mountains again; the Flachgau region is most likely to remain dry for longer. Morning temperatures: 2 to 8 °C, maximum temperatures: 10 to 15 °C.

Saturday is likely to be overcast with thick clouds, and rain is expected on and off. The snow line will be between 1,200 and 1,400 metres. In the afternoon, the rain will ease off slightly, but the sun will only make a brief appearance in the northern Flachgau at most. The wind will pick up during the day, blowing moderately to briskly (Flachgau, Lungau with gusts of just over 50 km/h) from the west to north-west in the afternoon. Morning temperatures: 2 to 7 °C, maximum temperatures: a cool 7 to 13 °C.
