On Monday, changeable and, initially, rather unsettled weather will prevail. Particularly in the morning, there will still be occasional rain from thick clouds; in the afternoon, it will become increasingly dry and the clouds will thin out somewhat. The Lungau region will see the least rainfall. A moderate westerly to north-westerly wind will blow. Early morning temperatures will range between 9 and 15 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 17 and 20 degrees C.

On Tuesday, under the influence of a temporary high-pressure system, we can expect sunny and stable late-summer weather. Patches of fog and low-lying mist in some Alpine valleys will clear quickly, after which the sun will mostly shine unobstructed. Morning temperatures will range between 6 and 12 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 21 and 25 degrees C.

The forecast for Wednesday is still uncertain in detail. The day is expected to start off sunny, but by the afternoon at the latest, clouds will increasingly thicken from the north-west and the first showers will develop. Later on, a cold front accompanied by a strengthening westerly wind will bring rain, which will be persistent in places; initially, there may also be brief thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will range between 6 and 14 degrees C, whilst maximum temperatures will be between 20 and 25 degrees C.
