Sometimes it should be a little more. If hiking from the valley to the mountain is a bit too boring, we have just the RIGHT thing for you. On various themed trails in Saalbach Hinterglemm you can let off steam, prove your skill and even deepen your knowledge.

Motoric activity trail Saalbach Hinterglemm

The Motorikweg runs along the Saalach promenade between Jausern and Saalbach. Skill, balance and fitness are trained at a total of 24 stations. The creative stations with promising names such as spider webs, stretching oasis, alpine water-skiing wall, target fishing or 3D coordination walk let no boredom arise. The kitesurf simulator in Saalbach even creates surfing feelings, albeit in the middle of the mountains.

Use of the motor skills trail is free of charge, the trail is accessible from spring until the first onset of winter in late autumn.

Hiking educational trail

About ten minutes' walk from the Lindlingalm takes you to the start of the hiking trail via the valley end hiking trail. [Nbsp] Along the path you will find instructions for various exercises and information on flowers and plants from the mountains. At the beginning and at the end of the trail, dangers, equipment, nutrition, drinking, safety behavior and the environment in the mountains are pointed out. [Nbsp] The hiking trail has a lot of interesting information that can be very useful, especially for inexperienced hikers. This makes the hiking trail the perfect start to your hiking vacation.

Medicinal herb trail

Hobby gardeners and nature lovers will get their money's worth in the beautifully landscaped medicinal herb trail on Reiterkogel in Hinterglemm. Here you can enjoy the beauty and strength of over 80 native plants and learn which plants are poisonous or which herbs are used in the fields of medicine and cuisine. The area is located directly next to the Reiteralm on the Reiterkogel at 1,544 m above sea level - just a leisurely stroll (approx. 20 minutes) from the Reiterkogel cable car mountain station the Reiterkogelbahn or in the herb area.
