It's like in the mountainbike region. If you stay near the valley, you will find a variety of easy and flat walking & hiking trails. Most of them are technically easy and not challenging at all. One of the most beautiful hikes is in the far end of the valley of Hinterglemm. Not steep, but with amazing panoramas into the mountains of the Kitzbüheler Alpen along the way.

A bit further up the mountains?

If you like it a bit more alpine, take the joker card and take the cable car to the mountains. From the Schattberg or the Asitz you can reach the Saalbacher Höhenweg or the famous Pinzgauer Spaziergang. Real hiking-experts will chose the seven summits of Saalbach Hinterglemm. This one-day hike takes you up to seven peaks of the valley and you might need real hiking skills for that.
