Tobogganing is, without a doubt, one of the most entertaining activities in the winter. Perfect conditions such as in Saalbach Hinterglemm enhance the tobogganing experience. The Reiterkogelbahn cable car, for instance, takes you all the way up to a 3km long toboggan run. You will also find perfect runs at the Spielberghaus or the Maisalm. Once you have arrived at the top of the mountain run, sit on your toboggan and sledge downhill, either very speedily, or more slowly while enjoying the views over the Glemmtal Valley.
Night tobogganing – the special experience
Every day a very special toboggan run and the corresponding lift facility are open and floodlit until 11pm. Why not enjoy a toboggan ride under the stars? The run is 3km long and leads from its access point at the top of the Reiterkogelbahn lift, all the way down to Hinterglemm. You can borrow toboggans at the Reiterkogelbahn cable car bottom terminus to take up with you. The last cable car ascent starts its ride at 9pm.
